With its striking facade and outstanding environmental credentials, Aurora is a landmark office building for Bristol and the South West. The 95,531 sq ft state-of-the-art Grade A speculative scheme completed in 2018 and is now almost fully let.
Aurora is the only building outside London and one of just six in the UK to achieve the BREEAM Outstanding environmental award under the toughest new rating scheme. It also holds a LEED Gold sustainability standard and a Platinum Wired Score accreditation for connectivity and digital infrastructure.
Businesses based in Aurora benefit from state-of-the-art sustainability features such as rooftop solar panels, intelligent LED lighting and water saving technology, all of which help to reduce running costs.
With a strong emphasis on a healthy working environment, the building is designed to maximise natural light through floor-to-ceiling glazing, ensure fresh air circulation and offer inspiring shared space including a rooftop garden. It has bicycle storage facilities, lockers and showers on site.
Financial services firm Parmenion, part of Aberdeen Standard plc, professional recruitment and consulting specialist Experis, law firm Simmons & Simmons and intellectual property specialist Mewburn Ellis LLP will be based inside the glass-fronted building.
Aurora was developed by Cubex and funded by Palmer Capital in a programmatic joint venture backed by clients of CBRE Global Investment Partners. Cubex, backed by Palmer Capital, sold Aurora for £62.13 million to Royal London Asset Management in 2018.
