Creating a vibrant neighbourhood
FINZELS REACH IS A BUZZING, THRIVING COMMUNITY, WITH MUCH TO ATTRACT PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER BRISTOL. REGULAR EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES ARE FOSTERING A FUN AND VIBRANT ATMOSPHERE, WHILE COMMUNITY FACILITIES ARE ENHANCING THE LIVES OF THE AREA’S RESIDENTS.
Let's do lunch
Make a date for the new Finzels Reach street market. Every Friday between 12 and 2pm up to 15 stalls will be selling the very best in street food. From crispy squid to sushi you can taste flavours from around the world – and it’s all been getting some rave reviews.
The street market has not just tickled Bristol’s taste buds, it’s also brought Finzels Reach to life. On a sunny summer’s day it’s filled with people looking for a lunch with a difference, many of them then strolling over the new pedestrian bridge to eat al-fresco in Castle Park.
Getting the Ferry from Finzels Reach
With the opening of Castle Bridge in 2017 we upgraded the ferry landing stage to make accessing the ferry much easier. Bristol Ferry Boats provide a scheduled waterbus service around the Floating Harbour all year round. If you are arriving by train at Temple Meads station you can hop on a ferry (the stop is just a couple of minutes walk from the station) and take a leisurely trip to Castle Bridge the stop for Finzels Reach and Bristol’s Shopping Quarter. Full details of the ferry route is on the Bristol Ferry Boats website www.bristolferry.com

Speak to the management
To make sure residents’ lives are as hassle free as possible, the Finzels Reach onsite management team are available 24/7.
Not only are they the first point of contact for any queries, they will also make sure residents are kept up to date with any news about the site. This could be anything from the progress of new site works, when windows will be cleaned or what’s cooking in the street food market.

The Building Management Team
Here, my typical working day is … well there isn’t one. The two things I do most regularly are answering emails and problem solving. I like dealing with people, I like achieving the impossible and I like feeling we’ve accomplished something.
As a team we’re very customer focused. Can’t sign for a parcel? We’ll sign for it and keep it safe. Need help with a large delivery? We keep trolleys to help. Need a recommendation for a handyman? We’ll pass over details for the contractors we use on site. My favourite thing about Finzels Reach is the food market! Yum.
I’ve been working for over ten years now in various roles up and down the country. Most of it has been customer service focused.
In my job here at Finzels Reach every day is different, with new, exciting things happening. That’s what I like most about working here; it’s a constantly changing role.
I always give 100% of my attention to residents when they come into the offce with a query or to pick up a package. People say I always have a smile on my face, and I’m happy they think of me that way.
My favourite thing about Finzels Reach? Working with a great team and a great boss, and being able to provide a brilliant service.
I was a Royal Marine Commando for five years and I place a high value on service roles and improving the lives of others through my work.
There’s no typical working day at Finzels Reach, it’s always fluid and I have to react to tasks as they arise, such as reporting and repairing defects that I find on a walk around the site. I feel proud to work here in what is an exciting new part of Bristol’s future.
The team’s mission is to make life easy for residents. Good communication about any issues within FR and local knowledge for queries are little things that can make a big difference in the respect.
A big plus for the job is the variety of people I get to work with: the residents, the developers, local services and all the clients and contractors. I also enjoy helping to improve the area, maintain the buildings and create strong, lasting relationships.
Before Finzels Reach I had a number of jobs, but one of my favourites was working at the Olympics. I have also worked just down the road at Bridgewater House, so I know the area well, the best part is that Castle Park is just a skip across our new bridge.
The things I love about my job are the team I work with, and being able to make residents lives easier. The services we offer vary immensely, from safety to keeping the site clean and tidy also helping people move into their apartments.
We like to keep everyone updated at Finzels Reach, complete the form and we will add you to our regular updates.
