The Fermentation Buildings

Part of the rich brewing history at Finzels Reach, The Fermentation Buildings are being given a new lease of life as a unique and inspiring office space for businesses.
A working brewery from 1702 until 2000, The Fermentation Buildings have been home to several famous Bristol breweries, most recently Courage brewery. They have remained unused since the last drop was brewed and will now be refurbished to resurrect these iconic buildings.
Encompassing 15,000 sq ft on the first and second floors, the offices retain plenty of the original charm and character of these historic buildings, as well as benefiting from views over Bristol’s famous Floating Harbour.
With the ground floor home to an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and shops including Bristol favourite Bocabar, wine lounge Le Vignoble and the neighbouring Compressor Building housing a brewpub by Left Handed Brewery and a new venture by Mission Pizza, this area is a popular hotspot for the city.
Following significant lettings to Channel 4, Outlaw Design Agency, Historic England and English Heritage and Ecosurety, the office is now fully let.
Designed to make the most of the high glass atrium style roof and loft-like space, a range of flexible 2,384 – 3,788 sq ft office units have been created within this attractive industrial setting, featuring exposed original brickwork alongside state-of-the-art specification.

Combining original features with contemporary finishes, highly distinctive and unique within Bristol.
