The Fermentation Buildings
Part of the rich brewing history at Finzels Reach, The Fermentation Buildings are being given a new lease of life as unique and inspiring office space for businesses.
Encompassing 15,000 sq ft on the first and second floors, the offices will retain plenty of the original charm and character of these historic buildings, as well as benefiting from views over Bristol’s famous Floating Harbour.
With the ground floor set to be home to an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and shops and the neighbouring Compressor Building soon to house a brewpub by Left Handed Brewery and a new venture by Michelin-starred restaurant Casamia, this area is expected to become a popular hotspot for the city.
A working brewery from 1702 until 2000, The Fermentation Buildings have been home to several famous Bristol breweries, most recently Courage brewery. They have remained unused since the last drop was brewed and will now be refurbished to resurrect these iconic buildings.
Designed to make the most of the high glass atrium style roof and loft-like space, a range of flexible 2,384 – 3,788 sq ft office units are being created within this attractive industrial setting. These vibrant office spaces can be configured to suit specific requirements, combining the old with the new, featuring exposed original brickwork alongside state-of-the-art specification.
The Fermentation Buildings are ideally located less than a 10-minute walk from Temple Meads station, whilst Castle Bridge provides easy access to the popular shopping areas of Cabot Circus, Quakers Friars and St Nicholas Market. It is close to an array of bus routes and ferries can be boarded from nearby Castle Park.
